| DIVISIONS: | Singles, Doubles, Teams. "All Events"
competition winners are determined by adding the qualifying round scores
of bowlers from all three events. Singles and all events: A,B,C,D &
50+ divisions. Doubles and Teams: A,B,C & D divisions. Bowlers are
placed in divisions based on their entering average.

ENTERING AVERAGES: Must be used in the following order as they apply and MUST BE CERTIFIED BY YOUR LOCAL BOWLING ASSOCIATION or provide a current league sheet signed by the league secretary. 1) Highest current ABC/WIBC BOOK average. 2) Highest current average (provided 21 games bowled by 5/1/03). MUST INCLUDE LEAGUE SHEET WITH ENTRY. 3) Highest previous ABC/WIBC Book Average. 4) California Firefighter's Olympic Average (on file) 5) Southern California Firefighter's Tournament Average (on file) 6) If participant has no average, they may enter the NOVICE division Please Note: In steps 1, 2, and 3 above, a bowlers entering average cannot be more than 10 pins below his / her existing California Firemen's Olympics Average on record. If so, the Tournament Committee will combine both averages to determine participants entering average. Example: current book average 170 plus Olympic average 190 = 360/2 = 180 adjusted entering average. If bowler is in more than one league, HIGHEST AVERAGE MUST BE USED. |

| CHECK-IN: | Each competitor MUST check-in individually for the Olympics at the HOST HOTEL. First time competitors must bring Fire Department I.D. to check-in and will be issued an Olympic I.D. card. Past competitors must bring their Olympic I.D. card or Dept. I.D. to check-in. |
