San Diego Fire Department is proud to host the 36th Annual California Firefighter's Summer Olympics to be held July 15-20, 2007. This event will bring approximately 2,500 firefighters and their families to Southern California for a week of athletic competition and family fun.
We would like to offer discount tickets, passes, and/or packages for participants and their families to use during their stay. Historically, firefighters are very family oriented and spend a significant amount of money on amusement based activities. Since this is a statewide event, it will bring a large number of firefighters from northern and southern California for whom this event could be their only trip to Southern California this year.
During the course of the event we will be holding raffles, where product and/or services that have been donated will be given away. The proceeds from these will enable us to continue our support of local charitable organizations. We are in need of items (i.e., sports memorabilia, promotional give-aways, ticket packages, etc.) to be donated for use in these raffles.
We would greatly appreciate any form of donation you would be willing to make. Recognition for your support would be in the form of written acknowledgement in the official Olympic program as well as during the raffle give-away.
