California Fire/Police Winter Olympics

Registration Information

 

Eligibility

 

Competitors must be an actively employed,volunteer or retired (disability with doctor's release) firefighter or police officer from a government fire or police agency from anywhere in the U.S.. Volunteers, Paid Call, and Reserves must have at least one year of continuous service prior to March 23, 2008. Firefighters and Police officers who also work as ski instructors, race coaches or ski patro lmen are eligible to compete and will go through the regular seeding process. Department Photo I.D. will be required at registration.

Adult family members of Fire / Police competitors may compete in their own class in the GS, Slalom and Super G. Family members will not compete against firefighters or police officers, but they will race on the same race courses. MUST BE a spouse or significant other of a Fire / Police competitor.

 

Race Registration Deadline

The 2008 Fire / Police Winter Olympics application must be postmarked by 2/23/2008!! ($35 Late fee to 3/16/2008) We will gladly refund 100% of your money if you can't make it ( for any reason ) as long as you notify us before the start of the Olympics.

ON-SITE REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE OLYMPICS !!!

Cost of Registration

BASIC RACE PACKAGE: $225

Cost includes: 2 hr. Race Training Session, Awards Parties, Banquet and Hospitality tickets (6 free adult beverages)

Giant Slalom, Slalom, Super G, Dual Slalom for top 48

Cross Country : $20
